Many worshippers at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo town, Owo local government area of Ondo State capital are reported killed during service.
The killing was said to have occurred Sunday.
While some reports indicated that it was caused by an explosion in the church premises, another claimed that some gunmen invaded the church and perpetrated the evil.
A short video said to be of the scene shows a church with corpses littering the floor in pool of blood.
