Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He emerged the winner of the election conducted to that effect at the national convention of the party in Port Harcourt, Rivers.
Atiku defeated other contestants to clinch the ticket, polling 1,532 votes.
The result which was announced by the chairman of the election panel, Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, is as shown below:
