The spokesman for the command, SP Bright Edafe, disclosed this on Saturday to newsmen in Warri.

Edafe said that the suspects were apprehended on Friday by the operatives of the Violent Crime Response Unit of the command, following credible information.

He said that the operatives stormed and raided a hotel suspected to be a hideout for drug-related activities and nabbed the suspects.

“During the operation, six suspected cultists were arrested, while a bag containing firearm and substances suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered,” he said.
