The police in Lagos State have arrested two robbery suspects over attempt to steal a bus and a stolen phone.

They are one 29 years old Daniel Okorie who was caught over alleged attempt to steal a bus.

The other is Francis Aiyekomologbon held over alleged stealing of phone.

Okorie was arrested at 13 Olarewaju Street, Akoko, Lagos.

The bus was said to have been parked in the residence of one Tolu Oyenusi when Okorie attempted to steal it.

The police said Okorie, upon arrest, confessed to the commission of the crime.

Investigation, according to the spokesman of the Lagos Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana, was said to be ongoing.

In a similar development, one Francis Aiyekomologbon of 10 Olatunji Street, Bariga, along Abeokuta Street Bariga, was arrested for robbing one Damilare Ismaila of 17 Jebba Street Bariga of his Samsung phone.

The arrest was made on Saturday following a complaint lodged at the Bariga Police Station.

The police said the robbery suspects would be charged to court.
