The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has confirmed a fire incident at the Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja.
This is contained in a statement by the authority’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr Henry Agbebire, on Sunday.
Agbebire said that FAAN’s Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service was responding to the incident at the moment and working diligently to contain the situation.
He said that there was no report of casualties.
“Further updates will be provided as more information become available,” he said.
The official did not say when the fire began.
