The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, has within six days, transported 17,471 Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
NAHCON made this known on Thursday in a statement by its Principal Information Officer, Malam Shafil Mohammed.
Mohammed provided the information in Abuja.
According to him, the ongoing 2025 Hajj airlift operations had witnessed within six days, 43 flights which had successfully conveyed 17,471 Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

NAHCON is a government’s agency set up to regulate and coordinates Hajj and Umrah activities for Nigerian Muslims to ensure a smooth and efficient pilgrimage experience.
Its activities include licensing and supervising organisations involved in Hajj and Umrah operations, and coordinating with government authorities in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
