President Muhammadu Buhari has praised Chief Joseph Akpieyi for his contributions to the growth of the oil and gas sector in the country.
Akpieyi is the Chairman of Arco Group Plc and former Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Petroleum Refining Company.
Buhari praised him on the occasion of his 80 years birthday.
The president said he believed that many Nigerians who had come in close contact with Engr. Akpieyi as former colleagues, associates, and admirers, proudly testified to his talents and exceptional leadership qualities, required of those wishing for a better tomorrow.
He said his profound work ethics had inspired many Nigerians who worked under his leadership in the oil and gas industry and for his devotion to the rapid socio-economic development of Nigeria.
The president wished him more years of good health and fulfilment in his endeavours.
