Popular Yoruba actor, Jimoh Aliu, is dead.
The actor who is popularly known as “Aworo” died on Thursday at the age of 81 in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State of an unstated illness.
Popular for the roles he played in different television dramas like Yanpan Yanrin and Arelu in the 70s, 80s and 90s, Aworo went into acting in 1959 under the tutelage of the late Hubert Ogunde.
He was also a singer and producer.
He was born on November 11, 1939 in Okemesi in Ekiti State.
