No fewer than 15 students were abducted by bandits at the College of Agriculture, Bakura local government area of Zamfara State.
A teacher and his wife were said to have been abducted too.
Four persons – one police officer and three gatemen – were said to have been killed in the attack.
The Registrar of the college, Aliyu Bakura, said the attack took place on Sunday.
Speaking on BBC Hause Service, Monday morning, Bakura said apart from the students, the gunmen abducted a teacher and his wife.
