The Presidential and National Assembly elections disrupted on Saturday will hold in 141 polling units in Yenagoa local government area of Bayelsa State today.
The announcement was made on Saturday by the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu.
Speaking at a press briefing at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, on Saturday, the INEC chairman said although the situation was brought under control on Saturday, it was agreed that the election in the polling units should be held today, Sunday.
It would be recalled that the electoral process which was earlier scheduled for Saturday was disrupted by protesters.
The wards encompassing the 141 polling units are Epie I and Epie III, Gbarain II and Okordia.
