President Muhammadu Buhari obtained Cambridge University West African Examination certificate, a witness, Oshideinde Adewunmi, has said.

Adewunmi who is a former official of the West African Examination Council, WAEC, made this known while being cross-examined at the tribunal probing Buhari’s electoral victory, on Wednesday by the counsel of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Livy Uzokwu.

Buhari’s counsel, Wole Olanipekun, had called the former official of WAEC as witness before he was cross-examined.

He told the court that Buhari wrote the Cambridge examination along with 17 other persons.

He said Buhari was indeed listed as number two on the list of those who sat for the examination and had an aggregate of 32.

He stated that the subjects passed were English, History, Geography, Hausa and Health Science.

He, however, said that there was a typographical error in the certificate presented to the tribunal.

According to him, “Mohamed Buhari” was written instead of “Muhammadu Buhari.”

He pointed out that the president sat for eight subjects even though the certificate had just six.
