The Nigerian Meteorological Agapency, NiMet, has predicted partly cloudy to cloudy, sunny and dust haze weather conditions with chances of localised thundery activities over most parts of the country on Sunday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook on Saturday, in Abuja, predicted partly cloudy to sunny morning with day and night temperatures of 32 to 42 and 18 to 28 degrees Celsius over the central states.
It also predicted partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with prospect of localised thundery activities over Lafia and Abuja in the afternoon and evening period.
The agency predicted that Northern states would have dust haze conditions in visibility range of two to five kilometres with day and night temperatures of 38 to 42 and 21 to 25 degrees Celsius.
According to NiMet, Southern states will experience cloudy morning with prospects of localised thunderstorms over Lagos and Ijebu-ode axis.
“As the day progresses localised thunderstorms are expected over the region with day and night temperatures of 31 to 37 and 22 to 26 degrees Celsius.
“Dust Haze conditions are anticipated over the North.
“However, prospects of localised thunderstorms are envisaged over the coast within the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
