Lagos State has the highest number of registered voters with 6, 570,291 million while Kano is second with 5, 457,747 million voters.
This is going by the register presented ahead of the 2019 general election by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC , Professor Mahmood Yakubu, on Monday.
However on regional basis, North-West has the highest number with over 20.2 million while South-West follows with 16.3 million.
North- Central has 13.4 million, South-South has 12.9 million; North-East has 11.3 million and South-East has a little over 10 million voters.
INEC said it cleared 84,004,084 voters for the forthcoming elections.
That was after carrying out Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) on those who registered during the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
The current total figure of 84,004,084 is 15 million more than the 68 million presented in 2015.
