Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, has vowed to take disciplinary actions against a Deputy Route Commander, B. Ojeamiran, allegedly misbehaving under the influence of alcohol.
A video clip of him has gone viral on different social media platforms.
Already, Oyeyemi, has ordered an immediate investigation into the unethical conduct of the personnel.
According to the Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, the Corps Marshal whose administration is built on the tripod of Consultation, Reward and Punishment condemned the act and vowed to institute necessary disciplinary actions against the personnel.
If found guilty, Boboye, was quoted to have said, the law would take its due course.
He noted that the FRSC would always remain resolute in its stand against unethical behaviours and would never condone any act of indiscipline by its personnel either on duty or out of duty.
Oyeyemi therefore applauded the ingenuity of the Nigerian public for being an active watchdog of the Corps at all times and further called on them not to relent in such patriotic ventures.
While assuring the public of an immediate investigation, the Corps Marshal however reiterated the position of the Corps to its corporate mandate of ensuring a safer motoring environment for all citizenry and wished Nigerians a safe drive during the festive period.
