Two aircraft belonging to the Nigeria Air Force crashed on Friday in Katampe area of Abuja.
No life, however, was lost.
It was gathered that the aircraft were rehearsing ahead of the Nigeria’s 58thIndependence anniversary coming up on Monday when the crash happened.
The Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigeria Air Force, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, confirmed the incident, saying no life was lost.
His words: “I wish to confirm an air incident involving two NAF aircraft taking part in the 58th Independence Day celebrations. Thankfully, no lives were lost.”
