The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has vowed to sustain the recertification and training of tanker drivers in order to prevent the incident of tanker explosions across the country.
The FRSC made the promise in its reaction to the tanker explosion in Lokoja, Kogi State, on Wednesday which left no fewer than 23 people dead.
It also promised to generally increase the mobilisation of stakeholders.
FRSC made the promise in a statement made available to FrontPage.
According to Bisi Kazeem, Assistant Corps Marshal, Corps Public Education Officer, FRSC was saddened by the incident and commiserated with the families of the victims.
