The Senate has confirmed Godwin Emefiele for another term as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
The confirmation which was made on Thursday followed the screening by the Senate on Wednesday.
The screening committee was chaired by Senator Rafiu Adebayo.
Emefiele’s confirmation was made after the plenary accepted the report which was presented by the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions.
It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari, last week, forwarded Emefiele’s name to the Senate for another term as CBN Governor.
