The Ogun State branch of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, has expressed its continued support to the state police command in the efforts to make Ogun State crime free.

The association expressed the support when its leaders paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Edward Awolowo Ajogun, in his office on Friday.

The association’s chairman, Apostle David Otaru, while speaking on behalf of the body, acknowledged that within the short period the CP had spent in the state, his crime fighting efforts had been felt everywhere across the state.

The chairman cited the example of the serial killer in Ogere who had been on killing prowl ever before the assumption of the CP, but was swiftly neutralised barely one month after his assumption of office.

The chairman also cited the example of the armed robbery suspects operating in military uniforms along Shagamu-Benin Road but were recently rounded up.

He said with those and other achievements recorded in recent time, the PFN believed that the state was in for good things under the watch of Edward Ajogun.

Responding, the CP thanked the association for the visit and their prayer, urging them not to relent in their prayers and support for the command as security is everybody’s business.

The high point of the visit was the investiture of the CP as PFN ambassador in the state.

Other members of the delegation include Pastor Abatan Isreal, state advisory council chairman, Rev. Oludimu Ben and other state executives’ officers of the body.
