Lagos State College of Nursing, LASCON, Igando, has warned members of the public against transacting business with West African Community Nursing and Midwifery College, WACNMC, in the name of having collaboration with the Lagos State College of Nursing Igando.
LASCON said it had nothing to do with WACNMC, and that anyone who transacted business with the said college, WACNMC, did so at his or her own risk.
LASCON gave the warning in a statement signed by its provost, Mrs. Oyefunso Orenuga, and made available tol FrontPage.
The statement reads in full: “It has come to the notice of the Management of Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando that a particular College with the name West African Community Nursing and Midwifery College (WACNMC) purportedly situated at Yaba, Lagos State has been parading itself as an affiliate of Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando.
“The Management of LASCON hereby dissociates itself from WACNMC and that LASCON does not have any affiliation with WACNMC
“The Management of LASCON hereby warns the general public to desist from transacting business with WACNMC in the name of having collaboration with the Lagos State College of Nursing Igando.
“Anyone transacting business with WACNMC in the name of LASCON is doing so at his or her own risk.
“Beware of fraudsters.”
