Saudi Arabia set to execute 23 Nigerians over drug-related offences

Twenty three Nigerians are on the death row for drug-related offences in Saudi Arabia, the country’s authorities have said.

The Nigerians may be executed any moment.

They were convicted for violating the country’s law on narcotic and psychotropic substances.

The crime attracts death penalty.

The convicted persons were reported by the Saudi Arabian authorities to have been arrested between 2016 and 2017 at King Abdul-Aziz International Airport, Jeddah and Prince Muhammad bin Abdu-Aziz International Airport, Madinah.

According to the authorities, hid the substances in their rectum.

The convicted persons are identified as:
