The Co-ordinator of Sanwo-Olu Vanguard Independent Campaign Group, Ojokoro, Hon. Dipo Okeyomi, has been commended for his coordination of the campaign for candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State.
The commendation was given on Tuesday during the inauguration of 250 persons as leaders of street campaigns in Ojokoro area of Lagos State.
In their different speeches at the occasion, top politicians praised Okeyomi, popularly referred to as Carry Go, for his exemplary leadership qualities and the drive which has made the campaign for Sanwo-Olu and others in the area successful.
In his speech, one of the political leaders in the area, Dr. Waleeh Adeleke Ipaye, described Okeyomi as a great grassroots mobiliser, whose doggedness had contributed to the growth of the party in the area.
He said he had contributed immensely to the overwhelming acceptance of the candidates of the party in the area and beyond.
In a similar vein, the Chairman of APC in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Prince Adewale Bello, praised Okeyomi for his efforts at achieving success in the campaign in the areas.
“He is a man of large heart and a true party member,” Bello said.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Dipo Okeyomi charged the newly inaugurated leaders of the street campaigns to work collectively to make a success of their efforts.
He said they should be tireless in their execution of the task before them, saying that it was a way of contributing to the development of the society.
Ipaye in his remarks at the occasion also charged them to be dedicated, saying that that was how best they could achieve result.
Bello, speaking in the same vein said the campaign for Sanwo-Olu should be intensified to ensure a resounding success.
