An armed robbery suspect operating in military camouflaged uniform, Cizoba Okeke, has been arrested.
The 30 years old man was arrested by the anti-robbery patrol team of the police force in the filling station area of 2nd Rainbow, Festac, Lagos.
According to the spokesman of the Lagos Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana, items recovered from him included two phones, one sword, house breaking implements, two daggers, a POS machine and ATM card.
Investigation was said to be ongoing to ascertain where and how he got the military uniform he operated with.
Other members of his gang would also be identified, the police spokesman said.
He added that it was not yet established whether he belonged to the gang of dismissed soldiers arrested some weeks ago.
The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded, Elkana declared.
