Nigerians should be thankful to God and praise his name, irrespective of the situation they may find themselves.
The Dean, United African Methodist Evangelical Church, Lagos, Rt. Revd. Oladipo Timothy, made the call while delivering a sermon at the church’s 2018 Annual Harvest of Songs Thanksgiving Service.
The theme of the event is “Divine Favour From Above.”
Reverend Timothy also called on Nigerians to feel for others and help in bringing them out of whatever problems they might find themselves.
The call, he said, was to all irrespective to religious, political or ethnic divides.
He said doing those things would attract God’s very best turn around in their respective callings, the society, the nation and the world at large.
Reiterating the essence, importance and relevance of the event, he assured all of God’s unlimited love, kindness and compassion.
In their respective contributions at the event, the Baba Ijo and Chairman of the church’s Board of Trustees, Lt. Gen. Oladipo Diya (rtd); the Iya-Ijo, Chief Mrs. Mabel Kehinde Komolafe, and chairman of the occasion, Chief Tunde Afolabi, assured Nigerians of God’s blessings.
They said the people only needed to be very transparent, carry out sinless worship to appreciate God in their utmost honesty, humility.
They said the people should also be exemplary role models for others to happily emulate at all times.
