Residents of Mangoro/Onipetesi area of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos, went on rampage on Sunday blocking the road.
Tyres and other materials were set ablaze causing obstruction.
The residents were protesting the killing of one of the youths in the area by operatives of the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Lagos State Police Command.
Simply identified as Kunle, he was said to have been shot by a policeman who was said to be dispersng the crowd that gathered around them when the raided the area to arrest criminals.
Kunle was said to have been quickly rushed to the General Hospital, Ikeja, but was confirmed dead.
