Rescue operations are ongoing at the collapsed building at Ita Faji area of Lagos Island, Lagos State.
Rescue officials including those of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, are at the scene of the disaster.
The three-storey building collapsed at about 10.00 a.m.
A floor of the building is occupied by a school with students in their classrooms when the incident occurred.
