The management of Realnews Magazine and Publications Limited, publishers of Realnews Magazine Online, has selected “Drug Abuse among Youths in Africa: Implication for Nigerian Economy and 2023 Elections” as the topic for its 10th Anniversary Lecture.
The event comes up on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
According to the management in a statement issued by the Publisher and Editor, Maureen Chigbo, this year’s lecture will be delivered by a renowned national and international security expert, who is a force to reckon with in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
A member of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Drug Abuse and other experts in the field will feature as panelists.

The event will be chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of one of the foremost financial institutions in the country.
Their names, the organization said, would be announced in due course.
The venue is Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, by 10am prompt.

The ninth anniversary lecture of Realnews in 2021 was delivered by Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board on “Nigeria in the Unfolding Integration of the African Market: The Oil and Gas Perspective.”
