The controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable is to be arraigned by the Ogun State Police command “any moment from now.”
The spokesman of the Ogun State Police Command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, made this known to FrontPage in a telephone interview while confirming his arrest on Friday.
Portable’s arrest came after the expiration of the 72 hours ultimatum given to him by the police to report at any police station.
His offence, it was gathered, bordered on assault.
It would be recalled that the Zazoo Zeh crooner on Wednesday resisted attempts by the police to arrest him.
Oyeyemi had said the warrant to arrest Portable became necessary because he had refused to honour police invitation.
