The Nigeria Police Force announced a mass redeployment of top officers on Wednesday with former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Lamorde, heading the Force Intelligence Bureau.
The redeployment which took immediate effect followed the order of the Acting Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed.
In the redeployment also, Kayode Egbetokun, was posted to Kwara State as the Commissioner of Police.
He was former Chief Security Officer to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, when he was governor of Lagos State.
Edgal Imohimi has been removed as the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, and replaced with Mu’azu Zubairu.
In the announcement of the postings, made available by Force spokesman, Frank Mba, Mohammed urged the officers to work diligently and professionally according to the Laws, Rules and Regulations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
