Ahead of its national convention, the leading opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is holding a meeting and training in Abuja.
The events are scheduled to hold between October 28 and 30 at Legacy House, Shehu Shagari Way, Maitama, Abuja.
The meeting starts at 12.00 p.m.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the Secretary, Electoral Sub-Committee, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
“As part of our preparation for a free fair, credible and transparent election in the forthcoming 2021 National Convention of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), all members of the Electoral Sub-Committee are hereby invited to a meeting/Training…
“Please, note that the training is mandatory for all members that want to participate in the electoral processes on Saturday/Sunday.
“Members are advised to note that COVID-19 protocol on public gatherings will be strictly observed,” the statement reads in part.
