Osun State Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning has plan to generate N100 million monthly revenue in 2020, the commissioner in the ministry, Nathaniel Agunbiade, has said.

Agunbiade gave the indication during a management meeting held on Friday.

He said the ministry’s revenue was oscillating between N45 million and N50 million monthly.

According to him, the exceeding increase was facilitated through the acquisition and reallocation of left over government lands and levies on natural resources which abound within the state.

While projecting that about 100 certificates of occupancy would be issued this year, the commissioner applauded Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s effort in fast tracking the issuance of the certificate, which had hitherto been difficult to obtain.

He then appealed to those who had lingering issues with their certificates of occupancy to consult his office for speedy settlement.
