Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a leading presidential aspirant, has appealed to delegates at the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary to let their votes carry the answer to their prayers.
That, he said, could only be done if they voted for him.
The primary is ongoing and the party’s flag-bearer will be determined through voting.
Osinbajo said while Nigerians prayed to God for peace and a better nation, God wanted Nigerians to show their level of seriousness by voting right.
He therefore urged the delegates to vote right because their votes would bear the answer to their prayers for the future of “our children and the nation.”
Voting was expected to start shortly after Osinbajo’s speech.
