Ondo judge, Dogo, regains freedom from kidnappers

The kidnapped judge of the Federal High Court in Akure, Ondo State, Abdul Dogo, has regained his freedom.

His release came after spending five days in the den of the kidnappers who demanded N50 million ransom for his release.

It is not known whether ransom was paid before he was released.

The judge was kidnapped at the Ibilo axis of Edo/Isua Akoko area of Ondo State while returning to Akure from Abuja.

It was reported that he was kidnapped in a black SUV with registration number HC 72 FJ.
