Ondo State House of Assembly has suspended its Deputy Speaker, Iroju Ogundeji, and another member, Adewale Williams.

They were accused of being unruly.

The deputy speaker and Williams are among those opposed to the impeachment proceedings embarked upon against the Deputy Governor of the Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi.

They were said to have refused to sign the impeachment notice against Ajayi.

Recall that Ajayi and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu have been engaged in serious misunderstanding which led to the resignation of the deputy governor from leaving the All Progressives Congress, APC, on which platform he came to office.

The House of Assembly had, in the midst of the crisis, embarked on an impeachment move against him on the allegation of financial impropriety among other sins.

There was however disagreement among the legislator as they were divided over the impeachment move.
