President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that Oba Adedapo Tejuoso has served as an inspiration to many Nigerians with his lifetime of positive achievements in the area of the values of hard work, perseverance, service to community and humanity.
Tejuoso who has been on the throne for three decades is Oba of Oke-Ona Egba, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Buhari made the remark on Tuesday in a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 81st birthday of Tejuoso.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Mr. Femi Adesina, the president said he joined Tejuoso’s family, friends and well-wishers in thanking God for preserving his life.
The president praised the “tremendous efforts and contributions of the Osile Oke-Ona Egba to the advancement of his community and the nation, particularly his passion to help the downtrodden and the underprivileged in the society.”
He described him as a successful businessman and traditional ruler.
The president said he wished the octogenarian good health and happiness and prayed God Almighty to grant him more years to celebrate a stable and prosperous Nigeria.
