The Olota of Ota, Ogun State, Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege, has begun the transformation of Ota and Aworiland in general through his God-given entrepreneurial talent since he became a king.
This commendation was given by a community leader in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State, Dr. Segun Osifeso.
Osifesor, a surveyor, is the Chairman of Mapcotec Nigeria Limited spoke during Iganmaode Day celebration.
Osifeso said since the installation of Obalalenge as the Olota of Ota last year, the area had witnessed tremendous and positive changes in the area of living standard and economy of the people.
The Mapcotec boss described the monarch as a God-chosen ruler.
He applauded him for complementing the efforts of the government in making life meaningful for the people with his numerous infrastructural and human development projects.
He commended the Olota for striving to build a strong, virile and united Awori kingdom with the belief that it was through unity of purpose, love and peace that the community could thrive and flourish.
Osifeso further stressed that Oba Obalanlege’s love for adequate security and protection of lives and property which informed his decision to request for a police station within Ota town to strengthen the fight against crimes and all forms of criminalities was a welcome development.
Osifeso expressed appreciation that the Ota monarch had been promoting peaceful co-existence amongst the people.
He stressed that the monarch’s doggedness to maintain peace and tranquility in his domain had prevented the outbreak of communal clash in the community since his assumption of office.
He expressed his joy that Ota in particular and Aworiland in general would be proud of Oba Obalanlege as a quintessential monarch who earned honour by dint of hard work, diligence.
“Looking at Ota yesterday, today and tomorrow, Oba Obalanlege’s inimitable charisma, creative ingenuity and the manner he has been steering the ship of the town since his ascension on the throne has made the community to achieve what many people thought were impossible and I am happy to be identified with these lofty achievements,” Dr.Osifeso said.
