Nigeria has recorded 48 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 162,641.
The figure for Monday is the lowest in months.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, released the figures on Monday on its Twitter handle.
The NCDC tweets giving additional details read:
