Travellers exiting Lagos on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway have been advised to take alternative routes.
The advice was given on Wednesday morning by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA and the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC.
According to the government organs, a petrol tanker had crashed and was spilling its content on the road at Mowe area of the expressway.
They warned that gridlock had built up and extended to the long bridge near OPIC.
