NASFAT inaugurates new executive Sunday

A new set of officers to run the affairs of Nasrul Lahi l fatih Society, NASFAT, from 2019 through 2021 has been chosen.

This followed the outcome of the Shurah report submitted to the Board of Trustees and the National Council of Elders of NASFAT recently.

While receiving the report, the Chairman of Board of Trustees NASFAT, also chairman of the joint session, Alhaji Abdullateef Adewale Olasupo, commended the Shura Committee led by its Chairman Alhaji Afunku for carrying out a painstaking job of selecting the best and experienced leaders for the society.

Based on provisions of the Constitution of the Society,  the Joint Session released the final list of successful candidates who will be piloting the affairs of the Society for two years.

The new helmsman of the Society is Alhaji Mumeen Olaniyi Yussuf ,the former Managing Director of Accenture in Nigeria and now the Managing Director, Verraki Partners.

He came on board with his rich private sector background and experience which, it is expected, will be deployed for the accelerated development of the Society.

The 25-member executive led by Alhaji Niyi Yussuf will be inaugurated on Sunday, October 20 at NASFAT Islamic Centre Aseese, Ogun State.

The highlight of the event will be the handing over of the  official flag by the outgoing president, Engr. Kamil Yomi Bolarinwa, to the incoming president, Alhaji Mumeen Olaniyi Yussuf.

The inauguration lecture with the theme, Leadership As A Trust from Allah, will be delivered by the Chief Imam of Yaba College of Technology, Imam Salman Saheed .

The event will be witnessed by the Governors of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and other members of the Society.

When inaugurated, Alhaji Yussuf will be the 7th President of NASFAT.
