Final year students of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED, Noforija, Epe, Lagos State, on Thursday sat for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, TRCN, examination in the college.
They were joined by external candidates.
It would be recalled that MOCPED was approved by the professional body for teachers, TRCN, as one of its examinaction centres in the country.
TRCN also approved MOCPED to run a year programme in the college to award Professional Diploma in Education, PDE.
Admission for PDE has started in the college and still ongoing.
Meanwhile, lectures have commenced for the first batch of students for the PDE programme.
Screening of students for admission into the NCE programme for 2020/ 2021 academic year also began in the college on Wednesday.
Simultaneously, orientation for University of Ibadan students in affiliation with MOCPED also took place on Thursday.
Matriculation ceremony for the U.I. students is slated for next Tuesday.
