Lagos State government on Thursday announced the setting up of a parks management committee with Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, as its chairman.
The setting up of the committee followed the suspension of the activities of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, after the suspension of Oluomo by the national executive.
In the announcement made by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, the committee is made up of 25 persons.
The immediate past Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, is the Government Liaison Officer of the committee.
