MAPOLY bags ITF best participating institution award in SIWES

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has been awarded the “best participating institution in SIWES activities in 2018 Training Year” by the Industrial Training Fund, ITF.

The award which was given by the Abeokuta area office, is in recognition of the participation of the institution in the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme, SIWES.

It is the second time MAPOLY is receiving the award.

The award was presented to the polytechnic at this year’s ITF Interactive Forum held on Tuesday in Abeokuta where the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. (Mrs.) Noimot Salako, presented a keynote address on “Vocational Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development: A Solution to secured and sustainable future.”

Meanwhile, the award was later presented to the Polytechnic by the Director of SIWES, Dr. (Mrs.) Yetunde Lanre-Iyanda, at the academic board meeting.

The award was dedicated to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for “returning MAPOLY to the business of learning, teaching and service.”
