One Amos Ekuma, on Saturday, reported himself to the police at Ikorodu area of Lagos State over alleged murder.
Ekuma is of 59 Ajipon Street, Ohio, Ogun State.
The case was announced by the spokesman of Lagos Command, DSP Bala Elkana, in a statement.
Ekuma told the Police at Ikorodu that he was in his shop on Friday at about 1900 hours along Sabo Road by Kokoro Abu Ikorodu, when one dry cleaner beside his shop popularly known as Actor attacked him with iron rod, as a result of an argument that ensued between them earlier in the day, nut which was resolved by neighbours.
Ekuma said when he pushed him, Actor fell down and was rushed to Ikorodu General Hospital for treatment but died while on admission.
The corpse, he explained, had already been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.
Ekuma has been placed in custody for discreet investigation by homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.
