One Oyesanwo Sola of 28 years old of Grammar School area of Ikorodu, Lagos, has been arrested by the police for defiling a 15 years old girl (names withheld).
He was said to have defiled the girl in his shop along Ota Ona Itamaga Road.
The suspect was alleged to have inserted his fingers into his victim.
The survivor was taken to hospital for medical treatment and forensic examination.
The suspect was said to have confessed to defiling the girl.
The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for discreet investigation and diligent prosecution.
The CP maintained that the ongoing onslaught on criminal elements in Lagos State would be sustained.
