Thirty nine persons have been arrested in Lagos for strip teasing and clubbing in Lagos.
Their actions were said to be in violation of the lockdown imposed in the state.
The strip teasers, those clubbing, according to the spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana, were arrested at an hotel located at Idimu area of the state on Friday.
In a similar vein, the enforcement team from the Rapid Response Squad arrested one Suleiman Abubakar, the Imam of Sheik Central Mosque, Mile 12, Ketu.
He was accused of holding evening prayers (Maghrib and Ishai) in the mosque with a large number of worshippers in violation of the social distancing regulations.
The police disclosed that a total of 288 violators of the lockdown order were, over the weekend, arrested in different parts of the state.
