The national secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abuja, has been sealed off.
Policemen stormed the secretariat Tuesday afternoon ordering everybody in the building out.
They said they were acting on instruction from above.
The sealing off of the secretariat is apparently in view of the leadership crisis rocking the party.
Recall that the an Appeal Court upheld the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the national chairman of the party.
The party soon announced former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi as the acting national chairman.
The development took a different turn as the deputy national secretary of the party, Victor Giadom, declared himself the acting national chairman, citing a court verdict, as reason.
The National Working Committee countered him, and appointed APC Vice Chairman, South South, Hillard Eta, to act for Ajimobi who has been down with coronavirus.
