Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, and Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, have commiserated with the federal government and the Nigerian Air Force, NAF, over the aircraft crash in Abuja on Sunday.
They also commiserated with the families of the victims.
The crash left seven personnel dead.
In separate statements, Lawan and Sanwo-Olu described the crash as unfortunate.
In his statement, Sanwo-Olu, who commiserated with the families and associates of the victims prayed that God would grant the deceased eternal rest and grant the families they left behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable losses.
In his condolence message, Lawan charged the Nigerian Air Force to reinforce the safety measures against future occurrence.
