Lagos State University of Education, LASUED, Oto Ijanikin, Lagos State, has announced that it will conduct the matriculation of its pioneer students on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
As part of efforts to make the occasion a grand occasion, a special committee – Ceremonies Committee – has been inaugurated to take charge of the affairs of the occasion.
Speaking at the inauguration of the committee on Wednesday in her office, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of LASUED, Professor Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye, said there were plans to make the matriculation of the pioneer students a memorable one, hence the committee.

Professor Lafiaji-Okuneye charged the committee to immediately commence work in order to achieve the goal for which it was set up.
She enjoined the committee to begin sensitisng students and general members of the university community about the matriculation.

The chairman of the Ceremonies Committee is Dr. Amosu Albert Oluwatobi while Mr. Hassan Musbau Atanda is the Secretary.
Members of the committee are Mrs. Erinle Oluwakemi Aduke; Mr. Beyioku Joseph Bankole; Mrs. Sanni R. Opeyemi; Dr. Adeyemi S. Vivian; Mrs. Sami Omolara Oyejoke; Mrs. Balogun-Edalere Senami and Dr. (Mrs ) Loko Omolara Olasunbo.
Other members are, Dr. Olaleye Emmanuel Olumuyiwa; Mr. Sanni Damilola Moruf; Mr. Edu Aliu Muhammad, and Dawodu Iyabode Abosede.
