A lecturer at the School of Communication Studies, Lagos State University, LASU, Monsurat Olasumbo Aiyegusi, has been officially pronounced a Ph.D. holder by the school authority.

She successfully defended her thesis for Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D., in Communication Studies on Tuesday.

The title of her thesis is “Mother to Daughter Communication in the Adoption of Sanitary Pad Among Junior Secondary School Girls in Lagos.”

Monsurat also had her first and second degrees at LASU.

Expressing her excitement on her wall on Facebook, she wrote: “To God be the glory, this is a blessing from Allah that I can never deny.
