Lagos building collapse: Four die, one rescued as operation ends

Four persons died and one was rescued in the building collapse at Oye Sonuga Street, Palm Avenue, Mushin, Lagos.

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, made this known on Friday in the update made available to FrontPage.

According to the South-West zonal co-ordinator of NEMA, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, two of the deceased were male while two were female.

He said search and rescue operations had been completed while the carting away of rubbles would continue.

The NEMA boss also revealed that demolition of adjourning buildings will continue on Saturday.
