A three storey building at Cemetery Road, Ebute Metta, area of Lagos State, has collapsed.
The incident happened Friday afternoon, according to the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.
A top official of NEMA in Lagos, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, said one person had been rescued alive.
He said there was no certainty that anyone was still trapped in the collapsed building.
According to him, it was gathered that being a market day in the area, the residents were not inside the building.
It would be recalled that a similar incident occurred on July 11 at 20 Freeman Street, Lagos Island.
